General Terms and Conditions of Sale

MaisonParisChauffeur provides transportation services using Chauffeur-Driven Vehicles (VTCs), exclusively by reservation and at a pre-defined price. The head office of MaisonParisChauffeur is located at 18 villa de l'épi d'or in Saint-cyr-l'école, 78210, France.

MaisonParisChauffeur is registered with the Trade and Companies Register under SIRET number 925 197 352 and with the Register of Chauffeur-Driven Vehicle Operators of the Ministry of Ecological Transition under number EVTC09423471101.

 

1 – PURPOSE
 

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions applicable to transport service contracts concluded between MaisonParisChauffeur and its clients. By using MaisonParisChauffeur's services, the Client is presumed to have read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

2 – FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE CONTRACT
 

The Client can make a service request 24/7 on the website www.maisonparischauffeur.com or by phone at +33 6 82 07 18 53.

The client provides all information regarding their service request. They are solely responsible for this information, of which the following are considered essential to the contract: client's name, email address, phone number, date of the transport service, pick-up location, drop-off location, pick-up time, number of passengers (adult/child), number of luggage, nature of the service (transfer, hourly disposal).
 

MaisonParisChauffeur sets the price of the service based, in particular, on the information provided by the Client. Payment of the price is made by credit card via a secure electronic system. By providing their bank details, the client accepts in advance and unconditionally that MaisonParisChauffeur will proceed with the secure transaction and authorizes their bank in advance to debit their account for the amount of the service.
 

After the Client confirms their service request and pays the price, MaisonParisChauffeur will send them a booking confirmation, exclusively by email, summarizing the information related to the service.
 

The client is responsible for verifying the information contained in the booking confirmation. Should MaisonParisChauffeur be unable to send the said booking confirmation by email, the reservation is presumed to conform to the client's request.

 

3 – RATES
 

MaisonParisChauffeur sets the price of the service based, in particular, on the information provided by the Client; fixed rates take precedence for transfers.
 

The prices indicated in our rates include VAT at the rate set by the regulations in force for transport services (10% for transfers, 20% for hourly disposal), the chauffeur service, fuel, unlimited passenger insurance, tolls, and parking fees are included in the transport.

For hourly disposal services, the chauffeur's meal and hotel expenses are not included.

 

4 – PAYMENT
 

Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). All transport services, whether transfer or hourly disposal, are payable upon booking.

 

5 – RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION
 

5 – 1 – RESERVATION
 

Any reservation implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. The client and the service provider undertake to respect all clauses cited in this contract. No modification may be made to the above conditions without prior agreement between the parties.

This contract would be automatically suspended or cancelled without compensation of any kind in all recognized cases of force majeure (events external to MaisonParisChauffeur) such as disruption of traffic routes, bad weather, demonstrations, accidents, breakdown or malfunction of telecommunication networks, shortage of labor or materials, etc.
 

The contract is deemed concluded only once the payment for the order has been collected. Failing this, it is automatically null and void. Any reservation of a car with a chauffeur is mandatory and must be made at least 24 hours in advance via the website or at the last minute by phone, subject to availability.
 

5 – 2 – CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
 

A reservation can be cancelled by the client, before the pick-up time indicated in the booking confirmation, by email only to maisonparischauffeur@gmail.com. 100% refund if the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the pick-up time. 50% refund if the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the pick-up time. 0% refund if the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the pick-up time.
 

Any modification of the contract during the execution of the service may lead to a readjustment of the agreed price. MaisonParisChauffeur reserves the right to refuse these modifications.
 

5 – 3 – PRICE INCREASE / DELAY
 

Any delay of the passenger(s) compared to the pick-up time indicated in the booking confirmation will result in an increase in the service price, in cases where the client notifies the chauffeur by phone at +33 6 82 07 18 53, according to the following terms: More than 15 minutes delay: 20 euros. More than 30 minutes delay: 40 euros. For every additional half-hour delay: 40 euros.

Payment for these increases must be made at the latest when the passenger(s) board the vehicle.

In case of the client's absence at the meeting point, beyond the first 15 free minutes, without any communication from their part, or no answer to the chauffeur's phone call, the service will be definitively lost, without possibility of postponement and without eligibility for any refund.

 

6 – SERVICE QUALITY
 

The paid transport of persons is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles can perform this service and must be: equipped with a professional card number issued by the prefecture; equipped with a registration certificate issued by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Sustainable Development and Energy, Road Transport Organization Office / VTC division; equipped with a registration sticker affixed to the vehicle's windshield.
 

MaisonParisChauffeur undertakes to perform or have performed transport services in accordance with the booking confirmation and in compliance with all current regulations and legislation. In the event of subcontracting, MaisonParisChauffeur ensures that the individuals and companies it uses meet the same conditions.

 

7 – LIABILITIES
 

MaisonParisChauffeur is insured by a notoriously solvent insurance company that covers the risks related to its activity in accordance with current regulations. In the event of a dispute, MaisonParisChauffeur's liability can only be invoked if the Client provides proof of fault on the part of MaisonParisChauffeur and a causal link with the alleged damage.
 

MaisonParisChauffeur's unlimited comprehensive insurance covers the company's liabilities. The client is legally and criminally responsible for their actions.
 

7 – 1 – RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT AND TRANSPORTED PERSONS
 

The client undertakes, for themselves and for the passengers for whom they have contracted with MaisonParisChauffeur, to behave responsibly ("en bon père de famille") from the moment of pick-up, in particular, by respecting the chauffeur and the transport equipment as well as the following provisions: compliance with Highway Code rules (wearing seat belts, child seats, booster seats, etc.); prohibition of smoking, eating, and transporting dangerous materials.
 

If necessary, your chauffeur will make a stop during the journey. Prohibition of alcohol consumption inside the vehicle. Luggage is accepted and remains under the client's responsibility. MaisonParisChauffeur cannot be held responsible in case of damage and/or loss of luggage or electronic devices (phone, tablet, etc.).
 

Any damage to the vehicle caused by the client will be entirely at their expense. For any other damage leading to the immobilization of the vehicle: Actual cost + Immobilization fees + Loss of earnings based on the average of the last 3 months' turnover. In case of damage leading to the cancellation of the next service, a fixed fee of €150.00 will be applied in addition, payable immediately by credit card. Cleaning in case of vomit will be charged €150.00 incl. VAT in addition to the service, payable immediately by credit card.
 

Small domestic animals are accepted, provided they are in a transport cage. Large assistance dogs are allowed. Non-compliance with these provisions engages the exclusive responsibility of the client and passengers both towards MaisonParisChauffeur and third parties. MaisonParisChauffeur declines all responsibility concerning the actions of its client before and after their transport. MaisonParisChauffeur reserves the right to refuse to pick up, or to disembark, a passenger who does not comply with these obligations, as well as an intoxicated passenger.
 

7 – 2 – COMPLAINTS
 

Any complaint is admissible only within 5 days of the performance of the transport service concerned. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Courts located at the Head Office of First Prestige Paris.

The transfer service begins at the address of MaisonParisChauffeur's head office and ends upon the client's arrival at the planned address.
 

8 – 2 – HOURLY DISPOSAL
 

Hourly Disposal: transport is limited by mileage within the hourly disposal framework: 25 kilometers for 1 hour of disposal, 125 kilometers for 5 hours of disposal. Any hour started is due in full.
